Since our relocation early 2024, we are now able to offer Labrador Retriever Puppies for Sale South Australia. Our Palmira Pups are looked after as family. Having free rein of the house and property, no kennels. We utilise crates and individual yard areas when boys and girls need to be separated, but outside of these times they play; eat and sleep together.

Puppies are given the very best of care from the moment they are conceived. Working with the puppies starts from a few days old, because we believe this affords each and every one of them the very best start in life a puppy could ask for.

A Labrador Puppy should be for life. We give our Puppies the best start in life as we believe this results in fewer issues as they develop. Creating resilience and confidence from an early age is far better than correcting negative or anxious behaviours in an adult dog.

Labrador Retriever Puppies

From day 3 Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) begins, exposing puppies to controlled minor stressors.  This helps puppies build up their own resilience in a controlled manner.

From day 21 sound desensitisation begins. Because the puppies are starting to hear and open their eyes, at this age, sounds start at a low level and increases daily in volume and time. Example of the sounds used for exposure are; fireworks; door knocks; barking; baby crying; washing machine, sirens. Some of these sounds are heard regularly, but others not as often. However, for an older dog that has not had exposure, this has the capacity to result in fear, barking, withdrawal.

Puppies are acclimatised to crates or pens, chew toys and calm time. Toilet training is introduced once puppies are walking themselves, working towards toileting outside.  Helping to make toileting in their new home much easier to teach. As they get older, approximately 5 weeks, puppies are introduced to different environments, animals, and people.

In the later few weeks puppies are exposed to the obstacle challenge, so puppies can enhance their thinking and problem-solving skills. This exposure assists to develop a confident, well-rounded temperament, with the capacity to manage varying stressors as an adult.
